Workshop Description

In conjunction with each exhibition held by the artist Nadeem Koufi, he strives to offer art workshops focusing on the conceptual and technical aspects upon which his artistic project is built. This aims to foster a practical interaction with the viewer, allowing participants to better understand his artistic approach and style.

Maximum number of participants: 10.

Age Group: 20 years and above

Language: Arabic

Workshop Duration: 3 days – 2 hours daily

Required Materials: The necessary materials will be provided by the exhibition.

Workshop Topics:

1. Building a concept through open dialogue

  1. Translating the theoretical concept into the stencil printing process
  2. Bringing together those interested in creating a single, modestly representative work

About the Artist

Nadim Kufi is a multidisciplinary Iraqi visual artist based in the Netherlands. His artistic journey is characterized by an identity shaped by migration, cultural transformation, and dialogue between East and West. In his work, he builds conceptual bridges connecting diverse worlds, creating contemplative spaces where ideas flow freely. Experimentation is central to his practice, and he adheres to a simple and clear visual language, while nature remains his constant source of inspiration. Kufi views art as an intellectual and constructive process that transcends the confines of the studio, exploring new questions and innovative possibilities. Arabic calligraphy is a fundamental visual and aesthetic element in his work. He has participated in various exhibitions and projects within institutional and independent platforms, and he leads workshops and collaborative initiatives that foster dialogue between art, nature, and society. He continues to develop new visions and projects that reflect multiculturalism and diverse modes of artistic expression.
